POPNSURF ™

For Windows XP, Vista and 7

Follow these 3 steps every time before using Popnsurf™. It takes less than 3 minutes and you are in.
Brew your tea or coffee while it loads :).

DOWNLOAD THE PDF FILE TO PRINT THESE INSTRUCTIONS (opens in a new window).

1
First make sure to shut down your computer; also shut down your printer, scanner and any external peripherals to avoid interference;

Plug your Popnsurf ™ into a USB port. For desktops it’s preferable to use a USB port located in the back. For laptops, it’s preferable to use the left side.

2
Turn on your computer and immediately start pressing your boot key in a rapid, pulsating manner until the quick boot menu screen appears. The boot key varies depending on your computer’s manufacturer. Locate your boot key.

Locate Your Boot Key

After pressing repeatedly your boot key, a menu screen comes up and shows you a list of boot options, like your hard drive (HDD), CD-ROM, etc. Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to select the one that shows: “Removable Flash Drive” or “USB” or “Sandisk Cruzer” and press “Enter” from your keyboard.

You are essentially telling your computer that you wish to boot from the Popnsurf™ flash drive.

3
Popnsurf ™ will now load automatically. Once at the desktop screen, if you are on a WI-FI (wireless) connection, left click on the icon indicated by the red circle as seen in the picture. It is located on the right bottom corner of your screen.

Click on it to choose your WI-FI network name (SSID) and put in your password. Voila’!

This step is not needed if you are connected to the Internet by wire.

Notes:

Optionally, at your discretion, if you wish to watch live streaming videos from any website, double click on the Popnsurf ™ icon you see on your screen:

The wizard window will popup. Check the Internet and Google Chrome small boxes, click on: “Install” and then “Finish” when completed. The Google Chrome browser icon will magically appear on your screen.

Hit the F5 key on your keyboard if you don’t see the “Google” icon on your screen.

Never unplug Popnsurf™ while it is in use. Wait for it to completely shut down and then unplug it to restart your computer from Windows.
To shut it down, go to the lower bottom corner of your screen and left click on “Menu”, then click on the “Shutdown” symbol as seen below:
